Forest Gold

This design exploration is for Forest Gold, a premium mushroom producer in Vancouver, BC. Their line of award-winning products is aimed at discerning clients from home gourmands to professional chefs and high-end restaurants in North America and Europe.

The challenge was to create a brand identity that stands out from the mostly earth-toned competing mushroom products in the market. Our solution was to create a luxurious color palette based on jewel tones and gold highlights. In keeping with current industry trends all packaging is plastic-free.

The design for the dried products incorporates a luxurious feel with a customer-friendly product window to show off the quality of the product.

As a high-end product line, some additional gift items have been designed for the discerning consumer.

As the market for these product includes famous chefs from around the world, it makes sense to use the synergy to create recipes for Forest Gold products for the customer's benefit and to drive product sales.

Magazine ads are targeted to more high-end cooking magazines in both print and digital versions.

This concept presents a full line of branded products created with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and illustrations created on Wacom Intuos Pro Paper edition.

In closing, we feel this design exploration has set Forest Gold apart from the competition and will establish the brand as the "Gold Standard" of gourmet mushroom products.
